Some of the best Chinese food in Elgin (sadly that isn't as impressive as it sounds), prices are reasonable, but no delivery.  Lunch buffet is good.  Personal favorites: Mongolian beef, Garlic chicken, pork fried rice. - James G.

Lunch buffet is their best offering served with hot sour soup, sesame chicken, kimchee, eggrolls, and a variety of dishes.

The regular menu has some notable dishes.  The crackling rice soup is always good.  Most items are good, but not outstanding.  Service is friendly. - John H.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for high quality tasting food. Every dish on the menu is made with lots of flavor, never is it bland. The soups are amazing. Egg Drop Soup, Hot & Sour soup... aren't like the typical thin brothy like... the soups here are thick and full of flavor. My favorites are: Crab Rangoons, Sesame CK, Mandarin CK, Orange CK, Beef and Broccoli, and so many more... I ultimately recommend this to everyone who loves Chinese... you won't have a bad experience. PLUS, everyone at this restaurant is very very nice! - Jenn

Green Jade is very clean, and the service is excellent-you are not waiting forever for service (The longest we have waited was maybe a minute.) Every time we go there the atmosphere is friendly. The food is excellent, I pictiularly like the pineapple chicken, but I try my husbands dishes also and like them. I even found out that I like egg drop soup. I would recommend this resturant to anyone (I have mention it to all my customers and family memebers). - Bunny
